PAA offers to the community, service to the arts. We are the umbrella organization working to ensure that your favorite artists and arts and culture organizations have the administrative tools they need to succeed and access to the latest information---we cultivate Polk's arts community!
We are still in the emerging stage. We celebrated four years on June 11, 2007. We have accomplished much and there is much more to do, especially as funding sources decrease as a result of property tax reform legislation that was proposed in Florida for 2007.
We continue to remain faithful to our mission, but we cannot do it alone. This year, we must raise 50% of our budget in contributions from foundations, corporations, government agencies and individual supporters. As a donor you can directly impact our programs, events and initiatives, by not supplanting your funding support to arts organizations, but by creating a larger net of overall funding support .
