All-America County, Polk County in Central Florida is home to a number of wonderful community theatres. Residents of all ages from in and outside of this Central Florida county have an opportunity to showcase their creative sides, especially those who performed in high school, remained in Polk County after graduation and never lost their love for the stage. In Lakeland exists the Historic Polk Theatre, which in the early 2000s celebrated 75 years of theatre existence.
There is a lot to offer theatre lovers all across Polk County. So, come out and see a show. Speak with the director of the show and tell them your thoughts. Let them know how much you enjoyed your performance. Then go out for dinner. It'll be a night or an afternoon to remember.
